Kiewa Park is both a cropping and livestock operation located in Goolgowi NSW and has been operating in this area since 1987. We have grown the business aggressively over the last 10 years and our aim is to continue this path.  We are invested in our team and view our people as our secret to success.

Goolgowi is situated 50 km north of Griffith in the Riverina region of NSW.  Griffith has a population of 28 000 people and has excellent education options with daily buses running from Goolgowi.

Due to an internal promotion, we are seeking a skilled and motivated Mechanic to join our team. This is an exciting opportunity to work with a fleet of modern machinery and play a vital role in the smooth running of day-to-day operations.  Our workshop is modern and expansive.


About the Role:

You’ll be responsible for maintaining and repairing a wide range of agricultural machinery, including tractors, headers, seeders, spray rigs, and heavy vehicles. Working closely with the farm management team, your role will help ensure machinery is field-ready, safe, and operating efficiently throughout seeding, spraying, and harvest seasons.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Diagnose and repair mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical faults

  • Perform scheduled preventative maintenance and servicing

  • Manage parts inventory and workshop tools

  • Assist operators with breakdowns during peak periods

  • Maintain service records and ensure equipment compliance

  • Contribute to continuous improvement of machinery systems and processes


What We’re Looking For:

  • Trade qualification as a Diesel Mechanic

  • Experience with large agricultural machinery

  • Has a strong interest in farming

  • Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills

  • Ability to work independently and manage priorities during busy seasons

  • HR or HC licence (desirable)

  • Welding and fabrication skills (advantageous)
